Eurocopter yesterday signed a cooperation agreement with China's Tongji University that integrates this Shanghaibased educational institute into the company's family of partner universities, with the goal of training future technicians and engineers in helicopter technology and reinforcing the international exchange in research and development. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Purchases 12 Eurocopter AS350 B2 Helicopters

10 - American Eurocopter announced today that the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has purchased 12 AS350 B2 helicopters. The EC665 Tiger HAP (combat support) helicopter received its operational certification from NATO for the Afghan theater of operations in August 2009, just seven months after the final operational standard qualification was issued by government agencies in December 2008.
